Golf Clubs FAQs
How many golf balls will I need?
Regardless of your skill level, having at least 10-20 balls in your
bag at a time is a good idea. The less skilled you are, the more backup
balls you should plan on needing. But even the pros lose balls now and
again.
My golf shots hook or slice almost every time. What’s
the cure?
The quick fix is to reposition yourself to the left or to the right
as you tee off, depending on which way your shots tend to go. The best
solution to this problem is to pay for some lessons. Take lessons from
a golf pro or you buy an instructional DVD to help remedy your technical
shortcomings.
Is golf an expensive habit to develop?
There are some courses that are very expensive and there are some high
tech pieces of equipment and apparel that will cost you, golf doesn’t
have to be a wealthy person’s sport. If you want to play golf
on a budget look into playing on city-owned courses. These courses are
often subsidized with tax dollars, city residents usually get a good
rate to play. And buying used clubs is the less expensive way to accumulate
the equipment you’ll need.
